Choosing a casket or urn for your loved one is a highly personal process. The factors to consider are:

CASKETS
We have a large range of caskets available in a variety of styles and materials. These include formal designs in traditional NZ rimu timber, contemporary styles in other natural timbers, and painted or themed designs on composite materials.
We also offer a variety of alternative, eco-friendly options including woollen or sustainable New Zealand pine caskets.
What is the difference between a casket or a coffin?
The shape. Caskets are rectangular in shape; coffins are wider at the shoulders and taper inwards at the feet. At Sowman’s we use “casket” to refer to both.

The Urn Collection
