Cecil 'Brian' Walker
Cecil ‘Brian’ Walker
On 3 October, Bri retired his paint brushes and left his final instructions on how to tend his vegetable garden. He had a generous heart for his 79 years and in return he takes a piece of ours with him.
He leaves behind Jenni, his wife of 53 years, his kids Louise, Craig and Kelly (in-law), his much loved grandchildren Mel and Ben. His sisters and their husbands, Helen and David, Jude and Malc and Janelle and Wilton.
Bri, we look forward to hearing all your stories when we see you again. Miss you always.
Thank you to the staff at Hospice for your kindness and support.
Messages for the family may be sent to C/- Walker Family, PO Box 110, Blenheim, 7240

Tribute from Trish Fuller –
So sad to hear of Brian’s passing, although we hadn’t touched base in years, he will always have a spot in my heart from when we worked together at Cuddons.
Tribute from Hamish McCormick
Some of my best memories growing up were with you Uncle Brian, I can still hear you, Jenni, mum and dad all playing cards and laughing loudly outside the camping tent during the holidays, into the wee hours – it was the most relaxing, safe and joyful sound to fall asleep to as a kid. Thank you for always, always putting a smile on our faces, for the coveted supply of golden circle refreshments, and most importantly for being such a lovely and kind human being.
We’ll miss you a lot but remember you more x
Tribute from Argyle Family
Brian held a special place in our family, and his warmth and hospitality were felt by extended family members and friends whose lives he touched. We, Jenni’s siblings, always appreciated his generous welcome and jovial contributions to family occasions, as did our late parents. Brian’s love and care for his family was greatly valued and respected and he will be sorely missed by us all.
