The service will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 76 Alfred Street, Blenheim, at 1.30pm, on Monday, May 4.

Dearest Brudie, we just wanted to send you all our hugest love and to say how incredibly sorry we were to hear about dear uncle Ali. He was just the most wonderful uncle, always smiling, always up for an adventure, lived life to the full and everyone adored him. I have so many happy memories of the holidays I had with you all at Glengyle. I know you will miss him dreadfully and wish we could be there to give you a big hug. I hear you are surrounded by lots of love during this time and Tonia and Catherine are being wonderful daughter in laws. Sending all our love.
