Passed away on Sunday 13th September 2026, in her 100th year.
Dearly loved wife and soul mate of Leslie Gordon Smith (deceased).
Much loved mother of Pauline, Maree, Ross, and Lorraine (deceased).
Loved mother-in-law of Graham, Ross (deceased), and Marissa.
Cherished Nana to Travis, Stephen (deceased), Natasha, Melissa, Rhea, Ethan, and Meaghan.
Loved great grandma to her 12 great grandchildren.
Loved sister to Fred, Harry, Jack, Gordon, and Peggy (all deceased).
Dearly loved sister-in-law to Athol and Rose (deceased), Vera, Ollie (deceased), Jean and Vincent (deceased), Freda, Selwyn (deceased), Thelma and Harry, Robert and Kathy.
Very special aunty and great aunty to all her nieces and nephews.
A very special thanks to the wonderful staff at Redwoodtown Lifestyle Care and Village who looked after Betty so well.
According to family wishes, Betty has been privately cremated. A family memorial service to honour her life will take place at a date, to be advised.
