SMART, Anthony Terrance ‘Tony’

At Marlborough Hospice on Friday 17th July 2026, in his 70th year, Tony passed away peacefully after a long battle with illness.

A dearly loved son of Beverly and the late Terrance, brother and brother-in-law to Gary, Janet and John, and David; treasured father and father-in-law of Amanda, Luke and Marco, and Daniel; much loved grandfather to Ella, Jasper, Scarlett, and Winton; and uncle of Bradley and Blair.

You will be greatly missed by us all.

We would like to acknowledge Dr Alex Wittig of Wairau Hospital, and the amazing medical staff at Marlborough Hospice for looking after Tony during his illness. A donation to Marlborough Hospice Trust, account 06-0601-0148609-00 would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

A private farewell has been held, followed by a cremation.
