Passed away peacefully at Maxwell Life Care on Monday 22nd December 2025, in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Norm.
Cherished Mum, and mother-in-law of Kay and Phil, Bruce and Angela, and the late Trish.
Treasured Grandma to her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
Loved sister of Kevin, Frances, Basil (deceased), Trevor (deceased), and Peter (deceased), and their families.
Special thanks to the staff who took care of Marie in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Marlborough would be greatly appreciated and can be made via 02-0600-0112284-00 (Alzheimers Marlborough).
A service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held in the Sowman’s Mayfield Chapel on Saturday 27th December at 10am followed by interment at Fairhall Cemetery.
