Donna Bernice Rodger:

Passed away peacefully at Wairau Hospital, on Wednesday, 15 July, 2026, aged 75 years, with her family at her side.

Dearly loved wife of Rab (Robert).

Loved mother and mother-in-law to Michelle, Deb and Hamish, and Craig.

Much loved Nan to Tayla, Jaxon, Jordan, Gianna and great Nan to Isla.

Loved daughter of the late Marcia and Jeffrey.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Eileen, Susy and Mack, Rae and Rudy.

Loved aunty of all of her nieces and nephews.

Cherished friend to many.

A service will be held for Donna at Sowman’s Mayfield Chapel on Tuesday, 21 July at 11.00am. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed below this notice.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all of Donna’s carers, medical team and ambulance staff for taking such incredible care of her.  We really appreciate you all.

I can remember when Donna joined the Marlborough Harrier Club and won the Walkers Grade at the 2010 Road Champs. Over the years Michelle and I have shared many trips away to various events. On more than one occasion we called around to let both you and Donna know how our weekend went. Donna always made me welcome.
