We are saddened to share the passing of Murray Hunter Ritchie, who passed away peacefully at Springlands Lifestyle Village on 31 May 2026, in the 93rd year of life.
Murray is survived by his partner Rae Patricia Cooze. We would like to thank the staff at Springlands for the care of Murray.
Murray was the founder of Mana Transport and a highly respected and honoured business entrepreneur within the transport industry. Over many decades, Murray made a lasting contribution to the sector and was admired for leadership, integrity, and commitment.
Beyond business, Murray was deeply loved by family and friends and fondly remembered by the many young people Murray supported and mentored as they came through the transport industry. Murray’s guidance, generosity, and belief in others left a lasting legacy. Murray will be greatly missed and remembered with respect and gratitude.
In keeping with Murray’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.

So sorry to read of Murray’s passing, often wondered over the last few years where he was, he will now be with all our Cryovac mates gone before, and no doubt I will see him down the road a bit.
