Marlene May Overend

On 12th September 2026, Marlene passed away peacefully at Waterlea Lifecare aged 85 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ken; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Dean and Katharine, Jules and Michelle, Simon, and Cherie. Adored grandmother to Oliver and Sophie; Kate, Alice and Emily; Terri and Antonia. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Janis and the late George, and friend to many.

You will never be forgotten and forever missed.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Waterlea Lifecare for their care and support of Marlene.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Marlborough Hospice Trust (a/c 06-0601-0148609-00, ref OVEREND) would be appreciated.

A private family service to celebrate Marlene’s life will be held, followed by a private interment.
