On Tuesday January 2, 2024 peacefully at Hospice Marlborough with family nearby. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bob for over 57 years, and beloved mother of Nicky and Bryan Simpson, Karen and Antony Jeffries, Bridget and John Sloane, Bronwyn McNulty and Paul Reilly. Dearly loved Nanna to Jeremy and Lorraine, Rachael and Josh, Emily and Matt, Bede and Cassandra, Andrew and Bryony, Claudia and Michael and Maigen and Pete. Great Nanna to Charlotte, Fern, Fleur and Sage, Maddie and Gus. Loved sister and sister-in-law. Messages may be sent to 12A Glendale Place, Witherlea, Blenheim 7201.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service or 06-0601-0044826-00. You’re welcome to join the Dean family at St Mary’s Catholic Church for a Rosary at 5pm on Friday 5 December 2023. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Maxwell Road, Blenheim at 1pm on Saturday January 6, followed by interment at Fairhall Cemetery.
