Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Bethsaida Rest Home on Friday, 28 August 2026, in her 70th year.

Adored Mum to Amy, Terrence, Phil and Aneta.

Proud Grammy to Odin.

A celebration for Raewyn’s life will be held in the Sowman’s Chapel, cnr Hutcheson St and Parker St on Thursday, 3 September at 1pm. The celebration will be livestreamed and may be viewed below this notice.

Sorry we couldn’t make another trip Amy & Terrance, so just wanted to share this tribute with you.

Raewyn came into our lives roughly 30yrs ago when we became neighbours.
What started as being neighbours, grew into a great friendship that has lasted the 30yrs.
Over the first 10yrs we watched our boys grow up together with Amy & Terrance. As we shared many happy times, plenty of laughs, party nights and memories that we will treasure.
Raewyn had no car in the early days so Graham suggested she buy a car and he would teach her to drive. She certainly had her moments with lessons but came through in the end, which she was very grateful for.
Raewyn was a creative, independent person. We thought she was making a bold move to Blenheim with the kids to make a fresh start in life. As it turned out Blenheim was a wonderful place for her and the kids.
We were fortunate to be able to fly down to Blenheim in June and spend some precious time with her, Amy & Terrance. We were especially fortunate to take Raewyn out for lunch of her choice of winery . It was a beautiful day and one we will treasure. Still managed a smile or two out of her even with the pain she was enduring.
Thirty years of friendship even though in the later years we did not see each other very much with the distance between us.
Rest peacefully Raewyn. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
