Passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Wairau Hospital.

Loved husband of Marlena; father of Nicholas, Fiona, and Simone; and Pop to 11 grandchildren.

I will always remember Ian as that patient husband that wandered and waited for you as we chatted when ever we came into contact, never rushing you, never showing any impatience as we talked of work or families or life in general.
