Dear Lesley’s family and friends
I am so sad for this loss, Lesley was so loved, such a terrific human, and I know she will be terribly missed.
She truly was one of the most kindest, thoughtful people I knew, I was lucky enough to work with her for a wee while, she was so kind and thoughtful when I lost my Mum too.
RIP Lesley, Heaven is lucky to have an Angel like you ♥

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of your sister Lesily a much loved Mother grandmother sister and sister inlaw and friend. Lesley had such sadness in her life when she lost her son and never ever got over it. She will be at peace now with Brent and her dear parents. I use to catch up with her when arriving in the South Westland Ambulcane to Grey base, she was always wanting to know who we had brought in and if any of her relatives were on board. I remember first seeing her at mass in Hari Hari when she and Kerry were going to gather and I remember thinking how beautiful she was. It is so very sad that she has passed. We are thinking of you all at this time and sorry that we could not make it to her service. God bless you all and rest in peace Lesley.

You were my best friend Les who I met on our first day of High School in Hokitka will be dearly missed because her and I had such a bond throughout our boarding days and lives afterwards. I remember her doing piano practise in the hall I was in Sister Victorias small room at the front of the hall but no Les was up on the Hall stage practising on the Grand piano or supposed to be, but no she wasn’t she was so busy climbing out the window onto the railway tracks to meet some boy. I wa the lookout kid. Our friendship these past 63 years have continued even though Doug and I have lived in Australia but we saw you and Maurice every year Dear Maurice, we had so many phone calls, we laughed about our lives, oh Les how we will miss all that. Fly high my friend meet you at the pearly gates. All our love Jann and Doug form Australia. xxxx

A love note from Joanna
I was one of the lucky ones to see Lesley in the days before she passed away. We hugged, we cried, we laughed and touched on life and love. We had always shared and supported each other and helped to sort our deepest concerns. But also go great pleasure from our happy, fun times with growing families, travel and life.
A heap of special memories will keep Lesley with me always.
