HENSON, William John:

Passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in his 101^st year; at Seaview Rest Home, Picton.

Loved husband of the late Gloria; father of Yvonne, Elise, Darryl (all deceased), and Gaylene and Garth; grandfather, great-grandfather; and great-grandfather.

Special thanks to the management and staff of Seaview Rest Home for their care and devotion to John.

In accordance with John’s wishes a private cremation has been held with a private service to be held at a later date.

Belatedly (apologies) but very heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Picton Society of Model Engineers to the Donahue & Henson families on their loss. John and Gloria were “prime movers” and stalwarts of the Picton Rail and Sail Society and we were honoured for him to visit us on the foreshore, even in his later years.
