Tribute from Walter Scott –
I have many happy recollections of David. When my late wife and I first attended Renwick Anglican Church, David was not there that day, but on the following Tuesday he called to see us and welcome us to the parish. He was of the old school where Vicars visited the members of the congregation on a regular basis.
One January he asked if I cold fill in for the Sundays they would be absent on holiday. I still have the prayer Book marked in pencil with David’s instructions.
Noelene read one of the scriptures at our wedding in 1988 at Renwick.
We kept in touch after he retired from active ministry.
One Sunday Noelene asked me if I would be free that night as David wanted to go fishing and would like a companion. I went along and If David had written a liturgy foe Vicars fishing it would be colourful.
I will miss him.
Yours sincerely,
Walter Scott

Tribute from Barb and John McLaren –
David and Noelene were lovely neighbours for our family in Lynley Cres. Always welcoming and with a ready smile.
David also visited my family in the Outer Pelorus Sound.
A lovely man with a gorgeous sense of humor. RIP

Tribute from Pamela Hayter –
David married my late husband and I in the presbyterian church over 50 years ago. He was a really nice gentleman. He gave us some great advice for life.
