Tribute from Katrina and Judy Curtis –

Mum and I would like to pass on our condolences to you all. John was mums partner for a number of years, many years ago. I do remember meeting some of you (John’s children) when I was a young girl. John was very good to both mum and I.
Thoughts are with you all at this time.
Katrina and Judy

Tribute from Jo Sandford –

Sara, you are the only member of your family I ever got to meet through your dad. Together with my brothers Huon and Stuart we just want to pass on our condolences to you all at this sad time.
Unfortunately Huon and I can’t be there tomorrow to say goodbye to a man we hold in such high regard but Stu will be.
John was a lovely man and a very special friend to our late Mum Eva. We remember him as gentle, kind and caring with a great sense of humour and a world of knowledge.
On our visits to Mums when my children were younger we would drive out to see him. They still remember their walks thru his “forest “and we all loved the stories he told. They too have fond memories of him.
He so loved his home and it was lovely that he got to stay there as long as he could thanks to your love and support Sara in recent years.
I liked to call him on his birthdays and catch up and send photos and a card at Christmas to keep in touch.
He holds a very special place in my heart and I am so grateful for having known him.
Rest easy John and thank you for being part of our lives.
Jo Sandford, Stuart Clough, Huon Clough and families
