It is with great sorrow we advise of the passing of Ngaire Edwards, beloved wife of Graham Edwards (deceased) and mother of Lynette (deceased), Daryl, Maree and Susan, grandmother of Jayden, Samantha, Jake, Britney, Holly, Shane (deceased), Cate, Daniel and Jonathan, and great grandmother to Ranui, George and Chloe.

Ngaire passed peacefully at the age of 95, following a short illness.

Ngaire’s service will be held on Saturday 21 February 2026 at 11am, at Sowman’s Funerals cnr Hutcheson & Parker Streets, Blenheim.

Ngaire has requested that people attending the service please wear something colourful, as she loved being surrounded by colour.

Our Condolences to the family of Ngaire Edwards. My late husband Robin Henson was a cousin of Graham, and I would see Ngaire at the Blenheim Stroke Group once a Fortnight. She would always come and say hi and give us a hug, she was always smiling and dancing.
We will miss her and her lovely smile.
