DEPREE, Alan John:
Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Springlands Lifestyle Village. Aged 93 years.
Dearly loved husband of the late Helen Fenton Depree.
Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Simon and Debbie, and Nicholas.
Much loved Grandad to Lucy, James and Samantha.
Cherished great grandfather (Pop Pop) of Armanhi, Saige and Bodhi.
Loved brother of the late George Depree.
Close friend of Jacqui Mitchell.
We miss you and will always think of you.

I am sorry to hear of Alan’s passing.
I have just heard about it from another family member.
Alan and I connected again about 15years ago after he started sending me family history papers relating to the Depree family.
My maiden name was Ormiston my maternal grandmother was Edith Davison (Depree) your dad’s Aunty. I live in Timaru where the Depree family first settled.
