Tribute from Riley Coleman –
Dear Michael, Maia and Oscar,
My deepest sympathies are with you for the loss of Ana. Such a spirited, funny, passionate and loving soul, who as a true Aries, could also show you her fiery side when needed. I know her loss will leave a big hole in your family.
My time living with Ana for a few years in Dunedin was such a fun and memorable time of my life. I remember when Ana met Michael, this encounter took her quite by surprise for various reasons, then it changed her world. From when she first met him, she knew he was the one she would build her life with and I lost my flat mate.
I am saddened that we lost contact for a few years, but it was a joy to speak with her recently, like we picked up from a conversation last week. A testament to our friendship. I shall always remember her as my beautiful bridesmaid, she was so stunning that day.
Go in peace my dear, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
love,
Riley Coleman xx

We are so very heartbroken to read of Ana’s passing. Ana was the most amazing teacher to our two children over several years, at LFS and later at kindergarten. We remember her fondly for her passion and love for life, her caring nature and beautiful infectious and welcoming smile. We often shared stories about our children and family – her love for you all; Michael, Maia and Oscar was something so beautiful. She was so proud of all of your achievements.
You have left a beautiful memory and legacy Ana, rest easy xx
Sending our love and strength to you all as you navigate the time ahead.

Tribute from Ange Gray –
Dear Michael, Maia and Oscar.
Ana was an amazing Mother and Teacher. I met her when she taught my daughter at Little Footsteps. My cousin babysat Oscar for a period when he was younger. Every time I would bump into Ana in the street; she would always ask about my cousin and daughter. She was such a passionate, caring person. I always thought if I could be half the mother and teacher, she was, then I would be doing well. Rest in peace Ana. You made a difference to so many people.
