ADAMS, Ellen Marie

On 5th July 2026, peacefully at Ashwood Park Retirement Village aged 86 years.

Dearly loved wife of Gary and Athel; mother to Elizabeth, Monette, John, Philip, Michael, Robert, Richard, Lorelle, Mathew and Brooke; and their partners. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother to many.

You will be greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Ashwood Park Rest Home for their care and support of Ellen and her family.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Alzheimers Society Marlborough Inc, account number 02-0600-0112284-00, would be appreciated.

A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at Sowman’s Funerals Mayfield Chapel, corner Hutcheson and Parker Streets, on Saturday 11th July at 11:00am followed by a private interment.

I am sorry to have heard of the passing of Ellen. I have wonderful memories of spending lots of time at 77 Parker Street, always made very welcome and I always felt at home. I loved that there was always a baby to cuddle.
